A new BBC 4 documentary has come out with details of Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi allegedly torturing and raping of hundreds of girls, who were kept as sex slaves, during his 42-year reign in the North African nation. The shocking revelations have come to light more than two years after the dictator was captured and shot dead by a mob in October 2011 after his regime was defeated in an uprising backed by NATO forces. Reuters According to the Daily Mail, Gaddafi's sex slaves were virgin students from schools and colleges who were kidnapped at the behest of dictator and kept confined to in his dens where he allegedly raped and sexually assaulted them. The report also said the girls were forced to watch pornography for 'education'. The expose, according to BBC 4, came from a woman who fled from one of the dictator's dens. The report also shows a room with gynecological equipment, where sex slaves were supposedly forced to undergo medical examination for STDs, and later abortion. The report also said that many of the girls, after being repeatedly raped and tortured, were dumped in car parks or waste ground where they died. What about every single last one of his male relatives, all his officials, every last sodding one of them that partook in the girls passed on to them being prosecuted.
It is so easy to f/blame the deposed leader and forget the ones, who benefitted then who are still alive now, who benefit from the new status quo.
They are still there that cannot stand. shame on Libya if this does not spur them to take action. The world will be watching.
