Anyway, all plans for Novemeber raids will be posted and updated here. Please excuse the shittyness of this post in comparison to my previous starter threads as I'm doing this from my phone. (I will edit it later, no worries) To start us off, a raid will take place on Friday the 12th, I know it's a short notice but if you can, that'd be awesome. we'll be going from 11 to 2. Take your costume since it's no longer that hot outside. (YAY!!) bring your iPods since there will be a stereo to plug in to. And bring those awesome signs. We will be meeting at O'Connor and 114 by the bushy clock. Around 12:30, we will start to walk down to the ORG and then finish off there. Let's remind the Scilons that Dallas isn't dead. We try to have fun while doing it so it doesn't become dull to us, but also keep in mind that these people we are protesting are dangerous and will do what they can to find out who you are. It cannot be stressed enough to make sure you keep your identities hid. Where a mask and don't drive if you don't have to. Our primary protesting spot is near a few bus stops linked to trains all over the metroplex. If you can use public transit, please do so. (But also, pay for your ticket. Unfortunatly, for reasons more personal than I care to relate, I think I will be unable to attend these any longer. It really saddens me, but I might make an appearance in cognito (as myself) at one just to check up on you guys. I still support regardless of my situation. Keep it alive, Dallas! (maybe I can make Feb 10, since it's the big anniversary day and all)

Re: Dallas - November 2010 Awesome!! To any other Anon on their way... I strongly suggest using the DART system... Fanning out and using public transportation can help in 2 ways.: 1. Being stuck on a bus can help pin point if you've grown a tail. 2. If you have grown a tail you can take them on a merry chase without giving them any ideas as to your true destination. DART makes this really helpful by having their Trip Planner, a few suggestions for use: 1. Since DART is pretty anal about the locations you put in.... I'll save you the time by posting this as the end location: N O CONNOR RD @ JOHN CARPENTER FWY, IRVING 2. Try to pick a starting point that is a TRANSIT CENTER It is easier to lose a tail at a place many people visit... and these are just hubs where you get the most options of where to go... should you develop a tail... It's easier for them to spot you at a single stop, but harder to tell where you went if there are 7 routes coming together. For a quick list of Transfer statins... click here: DART.org - DART Rail Stations / Park & Rides / Transit Centers Don't forget your fare money!! The trip planner is nice by telling you what routes... and what fares to prepare for.

Re: Dallas - November 2010 Don't forget about your friends. If you know your friends disagree with Scientology, they might be interested in coming to these protests. Just make sure they know the dangers involved with protesting and that hiding their identity is high priority. Commonly we don't use Chalk Tech anyway due to the low foot traffic. But thankfully I have extra umbrellas in-case someone forgets their own. (Hooray for being prepared!)
Re: Dallas - November 2010 Update: I talked to the Irving Police Department and asked about standing in the grass at our first location and they said it shouldn't be a problem but if there happens to be any complaints about it then we'd have to move back onto the sidewalk. (which, for the life of me, I can't imagine why anyone would complain about us standing on the grass.)

Both of my anon pals can't go due to personal problems on one, and damned forgetfulness on the other. >.< and I had to spend the last of my money today so I'm shit out of luck on a transit pass...*sigh* ONE DAY!!! One day, things will actually go somewhat to plan on my part. ONE DAY! DarkSpecter, I dont think it's a good idea to go alone. Espeacially since you haven't been to a protest yet. Re: Dallas - November 2010 I have not been there and I have not seen it myself but I understand that there is sometimes a stress test cart in the Mall at Preston and 635, near the game store. I forget the name of the mall. Like the mall cart in Irving that I hear was gone for a while and then came back there is not much you can do because it is in / on private property, but you might be able to get an idea of how many people they have giving stress tests, and learn the names of a few people in the area if you stop by. Apologies if this is old news to Dalfags.

Re: Dallas - November 2010 School's going on right now for many Anons. Noon on a Friday by way of the DART system is pretty impossible for many people. Should see more activity building up in the spring from me, especially if you switch to Saturdays. Anyway, there's always the cards, as I'm sure Anon 998 will be happy to expand. Crystal, miss you. Public transportation is really against us in that area, especially since we're coming from the N. Dallas area. Convenient that they're so out of the way... :|

Hopefully some of you kids show; this is my roomie's first ever protest and my camera is out of batteries. :O I'll be in a bumblebee mask and she'll be in a bandanna, and we'll probably head straight for the Org, since pub. transportation won't get us there very fast.
