This is good. It's a local FOX affiliate, so chance to criticize the cult on Greta Van Susteren's channel. For harpoonage:

So, Applied Scholastics managed to increase their revenue from DC schools from $6K to $12K. Is the $6K Purchase Order included in the $12K Federal funds, or separate, for a total of $18K?

    $6K awarded in March 2010:

And current $12K revenue from link in OP:

Tutoring Service Approved By DC Public Schools Has Ties To Church of Scientology

Applied Scholastics front group Foundation of Brilliance gave seminars and consultations in DC in April, did that have anything to do with the extra $6K revenue?

The story has now been picked up by Mike DeBonis at the Washington Post. This is good.

Update: Here is a link to the PDF file on the dc.gov school services site. http://dcps.dc.gov/DCPS/Files/downl...-Performance/DCPS-TitleI-SES-October-2009.pdf

Scroll down to page 9. It has no mention of its affiliation to Scientology or even label as a “faith based” service. No parent would know it if they assign their child for their tutoring.
