This thread isn't long enough, so I'm including a classic to remind us of our womb. Even those of us who never hung out in /b/ owe a lot to the culture it spawned. In the name of Raptor Jesus, RAMEN!

I would make an unnecessary post in this thread but I think all of my posts here already fit the bill.

And let us remember that Raptor Jesus loves these couples as he loves us all, in a dark alley, when we least expect it.

You left off "are the inheritors of a longcat-long tradition of troops who kicked so much ass that they were specifically told to GTFO of the general mercenary business, on pain of their country being stomped into a mountainous mudhole, after Napoleon was defeated".

    And +1 to the thread.

LOL. The Falcon Crest Blog (yes, it's a real blog) covers the AC 360 reports, because Anne Archer was on the old TV show "Falcon Crest".

As we see here, sometimes there is a very fine line between having no life and being a total stud.

    So you disagree?

A fight between the Sea Org and the surviving remnant of the historical Swiss Guard would be un-lulzy?

    Re: CNN/AC360 March 29-April 2 - Scientology: A History of Violence

Idk, even when I wanted to see someone get beaten like the proverbial redheaded stepchild (which I am not, for the record :p ), I can't quite get into the beating as much when it's so thoroughly one-sided that the weaker side shouldn't have bothered showing up.

But then again, given the "weaker side" in question, I think I could live with a little less lulziness, for the few moments it would take the Swiss Guard to turn the Sea Ogres into chunky salsa with about as much thought as one would use in crushing a cheap cigarette butt under their heel. :p

Not much left to say about the week of coverage, so I'll just close it out with some pix.

  30. There WERE BEATINGS high up in the CO$ but someone else did it.

Mike Rinder and Marty Ratbun say (paraphrased)
“Yes there were beatings high up in the Church of Scientology but it wasn’t our faults, David made us do it and David was worse than we were.”
    David Miscavige says (paraphrased)
“Yes there were beatings high up in the Church of Scientology but it wasn’t my fault, all those others did it.

Now that’s the most ethical organisation in the world, anyone believe it?

IMHO, it could be worth fact-checking what the scientologists said. An easy contradiction was pointed out: allegedly Rathbun was removed from office in 2001, but he appears in this position in a 2004 video. I am convinced that other mistakes like that were made when rewriting history.
  33. Re: There WERE BEATINGS high up in the CO$ but someone else did it.

Please give us a link to that 2004 video so we can check it out.

Thanks! We've got dox, Mike Rinder was still with the CO$ at least in some time in 2004.

Two senior members. One of them was Marty Rathbun as he himself admitted to in his declaration. Guess who was the other one!
