Xander has video of these security guards kettling him in an aggressive and quite scary manner. This also cannot be proper conduct for a security guard to use against someone exercising their first amendment rights.

I was being kettled when I was arrested. I had two public Scientologists and one fake public Sci who was actually Sea Org dressed in civilian clothing on either side of me and behind me. Heraldo Antonio Avila was in front of me. I couldn't get out of the kettle because Flag buses were parked next to the sidewalk and the Old Bank Building was to my right. I was forced to move the way they wanted me to move. Avila would motion for me to come around me and then he would step into me forcing me to either bump into him or move back into the kettle. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have just fallen to the sidewalk even though I would have hurt myself. Chances are I would not have been the one to be arrested.

I like where this thread is going.

Oo. That is a change. In the early days of Flag, state licensure was a no-no. Now, those guards become subject to state law and the security guard licensing board.

I'm sure that, like Gold, they have a few that are licensed for when they want to use the physical nonsense. If one of their visa Russians tried it, they'd be screwed. It'd be worth matching faces to licenses (or not) to have a better idea of when they were going to try something.

    Partying with the Duggans!

Take a quick look at this video, because we don’t know how long it will stay up now that we found it.

From the best we can figure out, the person who shot this has made several videos celebrating time spent hanging out with the family of Bob Duggan, the fabulously wealthy pharmaceuticals CEO who is Scientology’s single biggest donor. In this video, we can see the Duggans receiving yet another big-ass trophy at last month’s L. Ron Hubbard birthday event at the Flag Land Base. Then, after some hip-hop dedicated to the Duggans, we then get a glimpse inside a swank Duggan Florida beach home. (Karen de la Carriere, who has seen the video, confirms that the lavish home is owned by the Duggans. She says she visited the house while she was still in Scientology.) Give it a look!

Is it possible to get a complete list of Licensed guards attached to Hacienda Gardens and other Flag addresses? It might be nice to have a list to consult if any of these bozos want to be bossy. My understanding is that if they aren't licensed, we can ignore them, and if they are, they should be filmed at all times to make sure they are following the rules. Am I understanding correctly?

  6. On the state web site, you can search by agency/school name, or by the individual's name. Only work addresses are listed.

Since Co$ is not a private investigative agency, I don't think anything would come up in a search, but if you want to try here is the web site:

Have a program pull down the whole list and re-sort it by address. Where's the harm, after all, it's all public data right? Just ask Aaron Swartz.

As employees of the church, the state agency that licenses security guards has no oversight of Flag security. Oversight only kicks in when guards are employed by a third party. Lame.

So, you cannot file a complaint with the State about their misconduct?
  10. Darth Xander Member

I did file a complaint, but because they are employed by the church itself the licensing board has no oversight over their actions. Its only when they are employed on behalf of a third party that oversight kicks in. They don't really need licenses. As with everything Scientology does, its for show.

So, in the state of Florida, if you are licensed to cut hair, you are subject to the Board of Barbers, but if you are licensed as a security guard, you answer to nobody if you aren't being leased out to a third party? How fucked up is that?

    Amax sez...

Late to the party I know but srsly Amax, no sign is fail. Ever. There's just no way of knowing when a seed has been planted or how long it might take for that seed to germinate. Just don't ever doubt for a minute that everything you've brought out has had at least some impact on someone, one way or another. Even if some were lost along the way, it was all money and time well spent.

    Much win in this thread.

    Carry on.

Personalized signs, signs written in another language, signs with too much sci-speak, and signs that are a wall of text are just a few examples of signs that don't work. I could possibly have a 1,000 useless signs that no one wants to carry if I'd made signs for every suggestion throughout the years.

But you don't. I'm just sayin' that the ones you have made are win, in any language. Now, nobody's asking you to open up a sign shop, but since the subject has been brought up, if you could make just one more. Just a little one, special for Peetie. It only has to say "Slap Me!". Davey will know what to do.

    Kthx!
