Then hell no. Pepsi must be informed. The money can come from one of David Miscavige's secret accounts in the Cayman Islands.
Maybe a Flordianon can chime in on ,If the Building even needs a roof.. some photos on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/7490927@N03/ looks like its had extensive remodeling since the property was purchased in 2008 the first thing you would do Is make sure the roof was OK...before you dump massive amounts of money remodeling a structure.. looks like the clams have it backassward... looks like the building has a terracotta tile roof...those tend to cost big $$$ but will last 100 years clam scam...use others accounts and vote often

Oh hell no. First, the address they gave Pepsi is bullshit. That address is a real estate office next door to the Sea Org hq in downtown Clearwater. There is nothing there except that office, and on the left of it, a scifag cafe, and on the right, the Sea Org building, and across the road, the main Flag training building. Second, the address their website gives is here: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1611 n fort harrison avenue&ll=27.981837,-82.796701&spn=0.005239,0.010568&sll=27.981856,-82.796604&layer=c&cbp=13,77.4,,0,0&cbll=27.981837,-82.796701&gl=us&hnear=1611 N Fort Harrison Ave, Clearwater, Pinellas, Florida 33755&t=h&z=17&vpsrc=0&panoid=jvhZo-ypEocQ931hlz1Q3A Which is just outside downtown, and which, if I recall correctly, is a fairly intact-looking building under no obvious construction the last time I drove past, although it is incredibly hideous (note the lawn, it still looks like that). I'll drive by this upcoming week to confirm it's where I think it is. Third, I have no fucking clue where that pretty yellow building in all their PR photos is, because it's neither where they told Pepsi the building was nor where they tell potential...clients(?) where the building was. Fourth, the Let Loose for Literacy site facebook page clearly refers to the exterior of the building as being intact: Our long- awaited facility- so close to completion! Just isn't ready yet. While the outside is complete, the interior remains unusable. So to get our new tutoring center up and running, we need a little help from you! I've taken the liberty of making an annotated map of where they tell Pepsi the building is located.

From Pepsi's site (minorly tl;dr, read red): I work with a church senior center but my idea doesn’t involve religion. Can I still apply? Yes. While projects and related activities cannot directly or indirectly involve religious activity, they can be carried out in association with religious organizations as long as they don’t promote religious advocacy or proselytizing acts intended to expand membership, encourage conversion, or advance a religious denomination. Is there any way to get more votes? Yes, through a new system called Power Votes. Here’s how it works: Starting May 1, 2011 and ending September 30, 2011, look for a unique ten-character alphanumeric code on specially-marked Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Pepsi Max products in participating locations. These codes are printed underneath specially-marked 2-liter and 20 oz. bottle caps, and printed on the reverse side of specially-marked 12-pack and 24-pack carton wraps. Enter that code on the Power Vote page on this site to find out how much your Power Vote code is worth: 5 votes, 10 votes, 15 votes, 25 votes, 50 votes, or 100 votes. Your Power Votes must be used by midnight (ET) on the day you register them on this site - after that they will expire. The best part is that you can use up to 10 codes in one 24-hour period. Cool, eh? It’s a great way to show your support for the ideas you like best. Visit the Official Application Guidelines for more Power Vote rules & regulations. Can I vote for the same idea multiple times per day? You can if you’re using Power Votes. Otherwise, the maximum is 1 vote, per idea, per day, for a total of 5 votes per day. Is proxy voting allowed? Proxy voting, such as creating fake registrations or using a person or computer program to create multiple accounts, is definitely not allowed in the Pepsi Refresh Project. It violates the trust of the community and is against the spirit and integrity of the program. Any idea or individual that uses proxy voting – which includes but is not limited to creating multiple and/or dummy email accounts to register and vote – may be disqualified. Pepsi works with an independent third party to help authenticate votes and monitor for fraud. Who can I contact for additional information? For general promotion and/or application submission questions, call Young America at 1-800-768-2784 or email PepsiRefresh@young-america.com Applications CANNOT to any degree: involve religious advocacy, proselytizing – acts and intentions to advance a religious denomination or expand membership or encourage conversion; involve activities by a religious organization whose purpose is only to provide services/goods/benefits to their congregation rather than all members of their community; involve political advocacy – acts and intentions to advance a particular political party, candidate and/or cause or to support lobbying for any particular party, candidate and/or cause, or to expand membership or to encourage membership for a particular political party, candidate or lobbying effort; involve furtherance or expansion of a particular political policy or agenda or social policy or agenda with legislative implication; describe a project that directly or principally benefits the Participant or any other specific individual (as opposed to the identified community as a whole); describe a project whose purpose (solely or partially) is to re-grant potential Grant funds to another individual or organization(s). By way of example, if the purpose of Applicant’s Submission is solely or partially to transfer potential Grant funds to a third party individual or organization, such transfer of funds must be linked to a specific initiative or project of that third party individual or organization, which must be outlined in the Applicant’s Submission and abide by the other terms and conditions set forth herein;

Perhaps as a start we could pick one of the top runners and vote for that. At the very least it would mean the clams don't get the cash. I fancy the dogs or the disabled? What should we vote for over and over again?
I'd say go with this one, it's ranked number #1. And voting ends in ten days if I read the rules right. http://www.refresheverything.com/dreamaschool From the sound of it, the top TEN in the $50k category will be considered. So we need to knock them out of 9th and 10th.

Also from their website GermantownCall Wendy Leitner-Sieber at 215-849-9416 oremail learninglabinformation@communitylearningcenter.org. This person is tied to a Catholic church in the area. It sounds like they need to get pooned too.http://www.saint-vincent-church.org/1ff-news/events.html
Maybe we could get it condemned. The place looks like an eyesore and I bet that there is a lot more wrong with it than just the roof.
Debatable. Scientology "charities" benefit only the RTC and mother church, but their stated purpose is to provide service to the community at large. For this contest requirement to be violated, you'd have to demonstrate that their stated purpose is at odds with their actual purpose, while the latter is much more difficult to prove. And if you've proven that Scientology is a scam, then all the rest of the arguments fall apart and you can go home.
Looks like they are violating the rules on non profit too. As they are one http://www.communitylearningcenter.org/About Us_files/CLC Audit - FY2009-10.pdf

Current Pinellas county tax records list it as a Religious Organization this sits next to the Sea Ogre Building they use this as the administrative offices for CLC View attachment xy_FEBCBBAA-60E2-4526-A548-BA3CFC990429_631_421.JP for tax purposes its listed as a religious orginization that clearly means the claims are ineligible farkin scambots
the building Is 7,700 sq ft I figured out 2 estimates on what they should expect to pay for a new roof this is for a more expensive Terracotta tile roof (which is what they have) material costs Low $4,697.77$ High 6,056.05 labor (tear off and replace) Low $13,934.69 High $18,682.51 total costs Low $18,632.46 High $24,738.56 with additional fees it could be 15-20% higher 50K is way too steep price for any roof that size. who ever told them it would cost $50K is a scammer. . if it was a Scientologist never mind that explains it
