If any raid reminded me that something unexpected always happens every time we head out, this was it. The dude giving a speech in the middle of this video....just wow. Anyway, the Flag bus was in town for some kind of OT regging event (I got the mailer!). What a pleasant surprise it is to turn the corner in Chicago and come upon a group of Sea Org! Whipped my camera out to get video but it was all blurry. I did catch them walking away though. Caught an NOI that I had not seen before on camera. And I saw a guy who had the Sea Org look to him so I started messaging him...only to have him walk on by the Org. Sorry dude! Skeptic2Girl would not appreciate the focus on shoes ladies!
This is in memory of fellow Chicago protester Kevin Freeman, who passed away in November of 2012: More coming, too.
What a gracious and heartfelt tribute to your fellow protester Kevin Freeman. Very nice. I send my sympathies and good thoughts to the other ChiAnons and, for his family out through the ether I guess.
Beautiful video Strong Strength. So sad. So young. Got a little teary. Sympathy going out to fellow ChiAnons and to Kevin's family and friends. My sword to Kevin
I knew Kevin in real life. He was quirky, but always tried to make conversation with everyone around him. RIP.
Necro-bump In case anyone cares, this was my video from last month, in December, which I finally got around to uploading.
Great! Xander and santa lookin' good! The storefront with the red curtains, looks like a chinese restaurant from afar. What is all that little junk shit in the windows?
Self-made decorations: Dianetics books, ribbons, ads, all kinds of miscellaneous stuff they change out for the seasons. Sometimes it looks kinda cute and other times it comes off as cheesy, but I don't think it strikes people as very churchlike. The weird thing is, the shop windows in the back are filled with gravel and covered with dirty, mildewed curtains. You'd think at least they'd put up some posters or something. People pay for advertising space, and theirs is just going to waste.
