1. Chicago POSTGAME - July 10th, 2010

It was a beautiful summer day downtown in Millennium Park. We didn't have the turnout that we've had in the past, but what we lacked in numbers, we made up for in endurance. Several of us didn't wrap it up until almost 4:30 - we started at noon, and that's a long time for us. There were just a lot of people there, even by park standards, and it kept us naturally entertained.

A few new people popped by, including an ex or two. I'm guessing they were rather underwhelmed by our choice of location and numbers that day (lol), but we were happy to have them.

I'll finish a short video later in the week when everyone's already forgotten about this thread. In the meantime, I'll leave you with some of my mediocre pictures before the more epic photos arrive from someone else.

P.S. - I talked to someone in person yesterday who I asked to message me here. Drop me a line if you get a chance!

Metgyre was there, true facts. (An inside joke with someone who wished to be there in spirit because he couldn't attend in person.)

<insert sarcastic joke here about tinfoily Chicago Chanology murder conspiracies>

The people in the Free Hugs t-shirts are apparently part of a worldwide Free Hugs project. They said that they go out once a year on the 2nd Saturday of July. Pretty cool.

You're the best cheerleader ever, you know that? I mean it, too. You're so happy in all your posts.

Someone I know saw us last weekend and said we looked like we were having fun, and an anonywoman was laughing it up. Cool beans.

Off-topic tangent: Something else I saw downtown were two people from the LaRouche political cult. They were standing around with huge Obama signs - one said something to the effect that he was working for the British, and another showed him with a Hitler-style mustache. Here's the flier they gave me:

This LaRouche guy sounds almost as cracked as L. Ron Hubbard.

1. Jesica Hahn brings Rev. Jim Bakker down in a Clearwater, FL hotel room.
2. Rev. Jim Bakker serves prison time with Lyndon La Rouche as his cellmate.
3. Lyndon La Rouche says to Jim; "So I hear you liek Clearwater".

Lol at LaRouche. Back during the "Bird Flu" scare, they were running around all over the city with petitions demanding repeal of the DDT ban.

Good times.

LaRouche has it all wrong.

He works for Bilderberg Group. So does the Queen.
