    Good point, worth following up with the local city council if possible.

    I doubt that Scientology actually owns the sidewalk there, but it might be remotely possible.

    Did Scientology pay a fee to the city to legally add that permanent fixture on public city property?

    If so, how much did they pay, and /r/ copies of permit.

    Or did Scientology simply seize the sidewalk property and claim it as their own, wog rules be damned.

    Google catches the evidence of the crime! Do you all remember when Scientology was cited for altering the sidewalk at the San Fran Org. Looks like a Google Mapping Car caught the elements of the crime!
