We arrived around 6. Moog setup the disco ball and music, adhocrat setup the cameras, and I brought some signs and spot lights for the disco ball. Luna showed up next and she brought the style I finally got to meet S2G. What a doll! Her new disco dress was awesomely flashy. She brought cookies and chalk. The 2 femanons who came from Oregon brought the crazy. Club Xenu was open for business. The scilons stayed pretty quiet except for the jerk who kicked Moogs camera under a truck. Over 9000 people were out enjoying an unusually warm day in San Francisco.. They would stop and watch us dance like fools yelling FREE JOHN TRAVOLTA and OMG! OMG! Then it got crazy. People would hear the music, see the disco ball glittering, and they just couldn't help themselves. We had all kinds of locals and tourists running across the street, grabbing a sign, and joining us. This one girl, who was dressed very nicely, just stood near us texting on her phone. We kinda thought she was OSA until she asked adhocrat to take her picture with a sign. When he went to get the sign back, she refused and joined us on the dance floor. I later found out she is an ex that was in during the early 80's. Just happened to walk by and was meeting up with friends who hadn't arrived yet. When she realized who we were and what we were doing, she had to join us. It was a Disco crazy fun nite to raid. I'm really glad I went. (It wasn't the mobile version that messed up my last post, it was trying to post on a page with a hundred pictures that wouldn't stop loading. I had to wait for the next page)
Only things missing. (1) silver lip gloss; (2) eye patch; (3) generous use of crimping iron; and (4) "Dragon Lady" Lee Press-On nails. Silk pjs optional.
If you knew me, you would know what a real risk there is that I would wear any or all of the stuff in that video. Even so, could not compete with your Joanie loves Chachi dress, S2G. Sheesh. Was so close in April to [pa]raid with you...Maybe shooting for Rosh Hashanah at the Transanonymous building in celebration of its true purpose? I really live so far away, but I am always with you in SPRTT. EDIT: By "true purpose," I mean its historical value.
I'll dress like Pete if you dress like Harris, my brother. We'll whip it; I'll be crimped and you'll be corseted. For the record, I love me some Harris. Not enough of the Harris on the Tube. See some choreography opportunities in this one, Moog, at least, within my current abilities.
