Catch-all thread for Chicago Scientology protests

So here's the deal... as of early 2014, Chicago has been moving towards flash raids and away from publicly-posted events.

We don't want all the planning to go completely underground, though, and we still want to keep the door open to anyone who would like to come hang with us. So if you're considering coming to an event, please feel free to share that here, and we'll get back to you.

If there's enough interest, we may do a get-together sometime in the coming months which we can plan here.

"Tech Se" must be some new post. All the Tech Secs are probably in the RPF or blown by now.

What's with all the secrecy? Waterboy has a dire need to know. This will cause him a lot of grief and he will need to go to Flag for the Flag-only Grief Rundown. And with the umimpressive GI that the org is taking in every week, this means that some local whale will have to finance Dom's trip to Flag, so he can unburden himself in session and come back all tiger, ready to wash off chalk, show off his all-around douchiness and bullbait the protesters.

Chicago flash raids will be like a special gift to Dom: instead of having just one protest a month to look forward to (a highlight for him, no doubt), now he can wake up everyday and ask himself, "I wonder if THIS will be the day I get to see my protesting friends again! Please, Lord Xenu, let it be today!"

Kudos, Chicago. Rock on.

Have you personally bought two New Sooper Ultra Mark VIII meters for yourself, and has your lovely wife Rebecca bought two for herself? No sharing, now! And no taking money off account - COB needs all new, fresh money. And tell us about all the new enthusiastic public who are racing through their GAT II services. Everyone has been totally compliant and thrilled to move straight into the new lineup, right? No CI? You have't had to declare anyone for grumbling about the $10,000 for their two new meters and all the other stuff they have to pony up for? How are the stats, Dom? Straight up and vertical? How's that working out for you? I'm sure you'll be much too busy counting the money in this week's GI to bother about some useless protesters.

Should of bought Dom a brand new shiny bucket for Christmas

Gifts are appreciated at any time - after all they are a church, a nonprofit. Maybe get something nice at the January clearances and give it to Dom for Groundhog's Day.

I think keeping them in suspense is a wonderful tactic, but careful, you know how the cult gets when they stress too much *snap-foot-bullet*

What do you have going for April. I think I am going to go just need this wether to lighten up. Last time I told you I was going but changed my mind when the temps droped next day to teens. It was like 40 to 50 on the day I decide to go and next day when it was time to go it got to 19. Ouch.

Hey guys, thanks for your interest. Since we just did an event not too long ago, chances are good that we'll be resting up for a few weeks. I'm not sure if we'll specifically be doing something in April, but you can bet it won't be too long before we're out there again. So keep an eye out for our next posted event. Ideal orgs have to have people! Just cuz you open and the place is empty does not make it ideal. Hahahaha.

Do you guys have a "Trivia" sign?

Don't know what that is. Care to explain?

It would just be like the other signs, but instead of saying "Scientologists Kills Ninjas" it would say something like "Crazy Scientology Trivia".

People walking by would have the opportunity to win small prizes for answering questions like:

Anyone who wants to join Scientology's Sea Organization is required to sign:
1. a lifetime contract?
2. a 1000 year contract?
3. a billion year contract?

I can think of about 10 other similar questions that highlight some of the more ridiculous aspects. It might be interesting to hear the reaction of the general public to some of this stuff.

That's an interesting idea.

In my experience, at the org, you only have 3-5 seconds to get your point across to the cars. Foot traffic out there is spotty, and most people are en route somewhere, so they aren't in a mood to stop and talk. That leaves the Scientologists, who almost always are not interested or able to have any sort of meaningful dialogue.

Maybe I'm being too skeptical? If you want to bring a whiteboard and try it, feel free!

Currently, we're debating on what time we'll be out there this Saturday. I'll be back with an update.
