    Cablegate full-text search

I've been working on this since Dec. 5th, at first based on a bit of code I had made for searching through Scientology stuff, but I've been rewriting it and have added to it to make it more suitable for the Cablegate.

The latest enhancement is the ability to search for exact sequence of words, using the dash (-) character to separate the words in the sequence. Ex., searching for "department of justice" currently yields 147 cables, while searching for "department-of-justice" yields 27 cables.

    Of course, open to suggestions.

    computer geek here.

What if the sequence you want to search for contains a "-" ?

do you have \- or -- or something else?

Seems to work without any for an escape character.

I've made a number of (what I think are) improvements since last time.

    * Tried to enhance rendering on mobile devices
    * Numbers are now indexed as well (they were not, so "area 51" returned nothing...) Leading zeros are disregarded.
    * Controls to navigate through highlighted keywords

There is also a cart to put in hand-selected items for sharing or to save a particular set of cables for future reference, ex. My pick

    Also, lol at "tomato"

Didn't realize you were from WWP when I found the link during the mirror crisis. BTW, been posting a shortcut that goes to your site: cablesearch.shows.it, oh and thanks for the site.

In case you don't know where to start searching:
    Cablegate's cables: Browse by tags

The tags are expanded, so no need to keep a cablegate glossary on hand.

Just found a really neat cablegate web-app, http://www.cableresearcher.net/ it lets you filter wikileaks cables by state department content tags. Makes finding what you're looking for much easier.
