    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

The stats list linked to in the first post seems to have vanished. Too bad, I really wanted to know how Ottawa was doing. It's also a little hard to disrupt a book sale when you have no fucking idea where it is taking place, and have only five or six active anons (ie. those who participate in your IRC channel/wiki on a regular basis) in a city of nearly a million people.
  3. Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Yeah I just went to see how Cincy did...and the list was gone:frustration:

The list comes with no copyright information etc, so with that in mind:

Hey thats give me an idea for a new thread. Lets have a competition to see who's got the most downstat org. Pics of front and back accepted. We can vote on the most run down LOL !!!!!!
  7. Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Thanks for posting the whole list Tamphex....CINCINNATI A BIG FAT ZERO~!
  8. Re: Book-a-thon downstats

At last month's book-a-thon they claim they sold 1056 in NYC and 413 in LA. Either they are lying or we are wiping them out. Probably both!

  9. Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Bahamutxone, take comfort that Ottawa sold only 2. I wonder why there are so few Anons? I love Ottawa. Have the various universities been flyered etc.? TorontoniAnons, can you help to increase the pressure in your Capital?

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Oh, we have more Anons that show up for the major protests. There are only five or six of us at most who usually take part in the mini-raids, and participate in online activities, though.

Let's see. One for Gwen, one for Simone, and one for Justin, amirite? Looks like those Ritalin-infested kids have been a little more effective then they thought.:fuckyou:

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Confirmation that Plymouth org sold zero copies of dianetics in town today, and we have recruited more protesters from the general public. Tomorrow is heavy storms - so they will not be out, which leaves Thursday morning til 2pm to meet their quota.

They are in the shit, and very pissed off (pardon la Francais)

You forgot to mention the little chat with one of the purchasors on Saturday (the only one we knew bought the book, the 2nd we weren't sure about) after which they left saying the had our side and theirs and if it was as we say then they would probably join us on June 14th.

Met office latest is warning of heavy rain possible for Wed 28th in our area. We're kinda on the border of the warning zone so may only get heavy thunder showers. Nothing like a bit of rain to dampen their spirits. :raincloud: <<< Plymouth Co$

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Hey, early on in this whole thing (February) wasn't there some debate on how many orgs there are exactly in the world? Well there's your number: 133.

This would make a nice checklist.

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

And only 40 of those managed to sell over a dozen books.

The top book sellers probably need some extra attention.

I have the opposite problem, I'm in the middle of nowhere, closest org is days away.
    Not that I'm complaining!
If I end up near Ottawa this summer I'll come join you guys.

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

Our Org is lame though. It's a crappy little store in the middle of a strip mall next to a salon or some shit. I'd honestly be impressed if they sold one book.

Scilons are doing the buying. Is it plausible that Berlin sold 97? No.

  37. MongoLloyd Member

    Re: Book-a-thon downstats

The numbers seem pretty plausible to me :D In all their lousyness.. what a waste of effort.
(I mean, imagine what the CoS could've pulled in if they'd had their staff work at McDonalds for a day instead..)

Also, the misspelling of "Göteborg" (Gothenburg). If you're gonna fake something you'll probably get it right :)

Anyway, our cult sucks way worse than Canada, people! 18 books / 33 million is GREAT compared to Sweden, where they sold TWO books / 9 million people..

I've been trolling the comment section of the bookathon website with a proxy condom as Terryeo. Shame the comments are moderated. I just love making the moderators read about their piss poor stats everytime they moderate my comment though. :fuckyou:
