  2. So whats the best way STU to Get Even not Angry, I,m so looking forward to my ATOS medical tommorrow, even managed to get the nice doctor to do it in the comfort of my own home!!!!!! But have been advised that if they see that you have a pet, it's curtains to ESA , if you can look after a cat then you are fit for work! Off now to go and kill my cat, when I eventually lose my sense of humour about this and work out a good way to top myself the cat can join me as another nameless statistic.

I got excited when I saw Stu's avatar again
    oh well
  4. Well, it would be nice to hear from a few britfags on how this is all working out.
  5. It was just a crack down to get some lazy fuckers who were conning the system off of benefits and back to work. Thread was stupid drama.

You mean taking care of a measly cat is grounds to work your ass off for money?? Harrumph!
  8. Anonymous Member

    1/ No it isn't.

    2/ You are a retard.
  9. Anonymous Member

Stu, you might find twitter more useful.

I highly recommend and just follow a few good accounts.
  10. Anonymous Member

I do hope you're still gainfully employed out there.
There are plenty of hungry Palins who are paying far too many taxes
to support lazy and ill-tempered hyperborean nincompoops such as yourself.

According to the Destructor Fleet, you haven't even been enturbulating the Ice Orgs
much less shattering and confronting Snosa,
so DON'T expect any handout from the the Marcabs either!
  11. 1/ yes it was
    2/ back at ya!

Sorry darling, I'm a 71 year old retiree. No problem ;-)

In the last few days, GPs (or the BMA) voted to stop these ATOS tests.

It made me very sad to see the suicide of one couple, who were struggling to make end meets.

They are fucking the most vulnerable members of society, it seems.
  14. Herro Member

Thanks for reminding me to poke fun at stu over this next time I talk to him on skype. Anyone want me to deliver any shout outs to him?
  15. It's not just one couple.
The death rate of this assault is higher than the cults will ever be.
It worries me. Because I'm one of the genuinely in need of heavy support cases that is going to get screwed over and left with no way to support themselves or survive once DLA gets scrapped.

I doubt GP's voting on anything is going to help. It's just a load of people all publically dissagreing. They don't make the policies and have no part in the actual assesment process. Just another protests to get ignored.
  16. CarltonBANKS Member

well duh, obviously it's more than one couple ;) I just meant I that's one that I recall seeing on the news. Every Sunday, they would go to collect bread or left over food. They were properly destitute. (very sad, very sad)

Remember that dude who shot himself in front of the greek parliament, because he didn't want to rummage through rubbish bins, for food.
    • austerity, innit
a vote by a professional body is a step in the right direction. as ever, politics and the (likes of) daily mail triumphs science (e.g. professor david nutt and drugs policy).

It's my understanding that the ATOS test is a questionnaire, not made by scientists or medics. Doctors diagnose diseases. ATOS are apparently fiercely litigious.
    • Trap, if you wanted to help in that field, I suppose you could try and keep track of all the sites they've shut down through legal threats. (maybe you are already doing this, I dunno)
    • In other words, when they bully, Streisand effect it.
maybe the tories don't care about people who an hero.
    • i guess the usa ron paul types would just say fuck 'em. (remember that debate where they said people who couldn't afford life support should be allowed to die?)
hmm.. is the inference that chanology should take a backseat? It probably isn't, but for the sake of debate, I'll say:
    • this is an international forum. i imagine many people (like herro) don't care about uk politics. (sorry to sound cold)
    • remember america has tent cities, they probably see housing benefit and JSA as 'socialism'.
    • people here (should) have a laser focus on challenging $cientology abuses. In other words, a lot of people here (rightly or wrongly) just don't care. 'where's the lulz?' they may ask. Also, 'NYPA' they may say.
stuff you (and others) can possibly help:
    • end coalition to be dissolved, get general election
    • get involved (or more involved) in UK Uncut or politics (Labour?)

i hope stu doesn't feel disheartened by lack of response ITT. this is a very niche discussion, it just so happens that some people on WWP sympathise/empathise, it's not really the right place for it. Maybe.
  17. Zak McKracken Member

I note that you're not personally arguing NYPA, but instead speak for Herro, America
and foreign Chanologists, to issue an NYPA on our behalf. You might be right,
but I'm curious where the rest of Marcabia in Brittania stands on the matter.

While it may be an international forum, we have

They could ask President Shaw to make a "UK" subforum under Canada?
  18. Anonymous Member

No he's not, he's a giant festering open sore oozing arrogance and douchebaggery.
  19. CarltonBANKS Member

    haha! astute and witty.

    • for the record, i agree with OP (Stu) and Trap. i guess i was trying to prepare them for people being dicks.
    • I do think it's careless to open discussions like this, at least without using a sock. In a place where anonymity is key, you guys are giving away a lot about your personal circumstances. Given that RFW is watching you, and dying to take out revenge, it seems unwise.

Do you think Scientology invest would spy one's personal activities or hobbies, twist them into something malign and called the police to stage an intervention?

Maybe someone should warn Stu, that this is a real concern!
  21. CarltonBANKS Member

i think you're saying that with tongue-in-cheek, but if you're not:
    • yeah, Trap's on RFW
    • Stu was v& for pot
  22. By all means. I was never suggesting that any campaigning relating the the uk's current social cleansing regine should happen here... Was just adding my 2 pence to the discussion. I'm not so deluded to think I have any power to change the situation and would rather spend my time enjoying what freedom I have left before eventually getting shuffled into a holiday camp for intensive shower therapy.

I certainly don't need preparing for what anybody else may think. I frankly don't care. The post was purely informational and they can either take it or leave it.

They are really going ahead with this, it's sad. Thanks, Coalition.

    Is stu okay?
  24. stuwyatt Member

Hi guys. I didn't realise that this thread was still active. Thanks for your thoughts and concerns.

To be honest, yes, I felt disheartened by how this thread started, and I abandoned WWP because of it... I'm sorry I didn't stick around, but health bollocks and social situation forced me to be a hermit for quite a while. I've been making a lot of changes lately (most notably, accepting that I need help with certain things and seeking it). Its refreshing to see others championing disability rights in this thread :)

Its good that others are helping spread the word about what is going in the UK with regards to that ATOS/DWP scam. This is a truly serious and scandalous issue that targets the very sector of people who do not have the health or means to speak out. Sickening isn't the word. I've had people who I know who have died due to all this - either through suicide, or spending their last few months fighting the corrupt system. I know of people who have died looking like skeletons due to neglect and starvation. Very few disabled people's lives get reported about, as most disabled people have been nobodies for too long.

I'm going to try and stick around on WWP.

I actually only just stumbled upon this thread recently, didn't see it when it was first posted.

What's interesting to me is ATOS's lawyers trying to gag sites.

Apart ffrom that , I know next-to-nothing. YOu have my sympathies.

get on twitterz. sign up, try to use a psuedonym. Although twitter is for faggots who like Justin Beiber, it is really useful for people compaigning against ATOS etc.

Please give it a go. Use this twitter sock just for ATOS stuff, keep it separate from everything else in your life (like 420 stuff)

chronic back and leg pain , no hope of being put to rights I have just spent nearly a month with no money , living of hand outs from family .
I used to be English and proud but now it seems because I cant give national insurance Iv become a drain and waster .
So work hard , pay tax and if your hurt at work ATOS will tell you if you still have breath you can be a checker in a ballon factory .
And yes STU I have thought of killing myself as well , your dark jokes are not lost on me .

Are atos beig incentivized in any way to get ther conversion stats up, and are their staff being incentivized to keep atos working?
  31. It's quite ironic that the people making these decisions are actually disabled themselves with narcissistic personality disorders or full on psychopathy. Wish my disability was as useful as theirs!

Petitions do nothing, they too easy to ignore.

I predict things will change when somebody an-heros in a spectacular fashion in a newsworthy location, somewhere like the reception of ATOS HQ, in front of the Palace of Westminster etc. Then the subject will be too politically hot for the bastards to just sit on their hands.

I thought I'd heard the last from the DWP, after I won my appeal last time, but nooo. Some dickhead successfully applied for ESA using my NI number, so I had to re-apply, and guess what... new applications have to be re-assessed - no exceptions. I will of course fail the test (I scored 0 last time) because it's rigged, and will have to appeal again. I will probably end it before then, just to avoid the stress.

The great thing about depression is that you see the bigger picture, and your place in it. Something that I think normal people don't, as they are distracted by the minutiae of their day-to-day lives. From my vantage point I see a battle ahead with bureaucracy, which I am simply not equipped to fight.
  34. Boudeg Member

Don't say that. I've been signing petitions on Change.Org for months now. Ffffffffdoh.
