Agreeing with Adrian here about the false information and harassment of people who ended up being innocent. However, my problem with Anonymous involvement is also about how they determine "worthy" rapes to get involved with. Don't get me wrong, both Steubenville and this one are "worthy" of involvement and outcry. However, I wish they did more to highlight how rape culture operates and brought awareness to issues of sexual violence as a matter of political principle, not merely when the vigilantism is bound to bring media attention for them. 21 minutes ago

Wow, I really hope that all these awful reviews don't force this adorable little restaurant to close down!

We, too, were waited on by Matt. Despite his vaguely reptilian eyes, he was a real charmer, although he did seem a tad anxious the entire time he was describing the specials. He kept muttering weird stuff about having to drop out of college and how prison would really interfere with his plans to become a politician, just like his granddaddy. How everyone in his family had PROMISED to make it all go away. Just random, incoherent stuff, really. We chalked it up to a bad hangover (it being Sunday and everything). But then he starts recommending all sorts of clear alcoholic beverages to me and my family, including my young daughter. WTF?

From there, things only got worse. He started sexting our daughter from the kitchen while we waited for our order. I grabbed her phone and was shocked to see a photo of the tiniest little 'd' I've ever seen in my life. The kind of 'd' that most women would take a gander at and run, laughing hysterically, from the room. I suddenly realized that poor Matt would be condemned to a life of sex with very, very tiny Asian women. That, or 14-year-old virgins. All, of course, with names beginning with the letters A-Z.

As I pulled my daughter out of her chair and made a beeline for the door, some guy in one of those Vendetta masks came in and sat at the table next to us. He proceeded to order the Anonymous Special, which evidently consists of 8 enormous sausages arranged radially on a plate around a cored baked apple. And the best part? The apple had caramelized onions draped over it that spelled out Matt's name. ADORABLE! Evidently the restaurant owners are related in some way to Matt, and created a dish in his honor! Must be some sort of tribute to Matt's future, which I have no doubt will be filled with all manner of phallic objects, coming at him from every direction, but hopefully mostly from behind

Anonymous has turned its many watchful eyes on another small town scandal, this one in Maryville, Mo.
"There's a multitude of anons and angry people alike planning a course of action as we speak for Maryville," said Deric Lostutter, aka RealKYAnonymous, who played an instrumental role in Anonymous' crusade in the Steubenville rape case. "We are watching. Always."
Lostutter also sent The Huffington Post a one-page statement that had been posted online Monday.
"We demand an immediate investigation into the handling by local authorities of Daisy's case," the statement reads, referring to Daisy Coleman, who was drunk when high school football player Matthew Barnett, then 17, allegedly sexually assaulted her last year at a house party. Coleman was 14 at the time.
If the Maryville authorities won't "do their jobs," the hacktivist's statement says, "we will have to stand for them."
Anonymous' plans formed rapidly after local paper The Kansas City Star published a 4,000-word report on how Barnett and a friend had sex with two underage girls. The report -- the result of seven months of investigating -- shot to the top of Reddit on Sunday, where readers across the country weighed in on the injustice of what reportedly occurred.
The day after the report was published, Lostutter, who is currently being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice and other agencies for his alleged role in hacking the Steubenville football team's website, posted a call to action on his Facebook page.
Things were ratcheted up Monday afternoon, when YourAnonNews -- one of the most influential Anonymous crusaders on Twitter -- began publicizing the issue to 1.1 million followers.
The initial events of the saga began in early January, when Barnett told police he had sex with Coleman, whom witnesses described as incoherent, local station KCUR writes. Although Barnett insisted the sex was consensual, Coleman's blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.13 seven hours after she had reportedly had her last drink, the Star reported.
Coleman was then abandoned in the front yard of her home, where she passed out for three hours in sub-freezing temperatures. After Coleman's mother found her and called 911, the girl was brought to St. Francis Hospital, where doctors discovered vaginal tears, The Kansas City Star reported.
Barnett was initially charged with felony sexual assault, but that charge was later dropped by Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice, who cited a "lack of proof," according to the Maryville Daily Forum. The only other charge against Barnett -- a misdemeanor charge of child endangerment -- was dropped over the summer, KCUR reported. Rice could not be reached for comment HuffPost.
Coleman was subsequently bullied at school, and her mother lost her job, prompting the family to move to a new town 40 miles away for a fresh start. Still, Coleman is reportedly scarred by what happened: She has attempted suicide and spent three months at a home for troubled teens, according to The Star.
Lostutter said that Anonymous is planning protests and a "media storm" to publicize the issue. The campaign is already beginning to light up on Twitter under the hashtags #OpMaryville and #Justice4Daisy.
Last year, Anonymous -- with Lostutter's help -- published a small trove of photos, videos and messages that illustrated some of the events surrounding the rape of a 16-year-old girl by two high school football players in Steubenville, Ohio. Many of those images were widely distributed during news coverage of the trial, which ended in the conviction of the athletes.

I would not recommend this restaurant because every single thing you order here comes with a side of rape. What's worse is that they do not allow you to customize your order in any way or request that the side of rape not be brought. And, their drinks all taste funny and have funny names. Like Roofied Rum, or Raspberry Roofied Vodka. On top of that, the service was terrible - the waiter just kept talking about liking the "D", whatever that is. I didn't see it on the menu, thank goodness, because it didn't sound very good and sounds like you would pay a lot for a very tiny portion. Anywho, I recommend you go elsewhere, anywhere has to be better than this joint.

A G Restaurant in Maryville keeps the lulz coming!

This place is is soooo quaint and cute! Definately a kid friendly place...in fact, they were only allowing my teenage daughters in for a while.

I finally got seated, and my waiter, this friendly, good-looking chap suggested I try the #13 or #14 specials. It apparently is a family secret recipe handed down from his granddaddy. It's made from this sausage they called "The D" and they cook it in some Bicardi and garnish it with gRapes. It was pretty small. That was the special #14. It wasn't good, but the waiter, Matt I believe his name was, said all the girls with names A-Z want it.

Oddly, I saw few women in this establishment. They all looked a little nervous, and none were having The D.

Told me with a chuckle in his voice to ask for the #13 or #14 "special" and that the owners would know what I meant.

Like one of the other reviewers the male employees kept eye-banging my pre-teen daughters and offering them a special clear drink.

I left before eating because it felt so weird and creepy.

I wonder why Rex Barnett recommended this place to me......

I was here earlier this week and was surprised to see that there were no prices on the menu. When I asked my server Matt what this was all about he just said that we would work it all out when I finished my drink. A drink that I never ordered mind you. I don't remember much after that. I woke up early in the morning on my front lawn. thank goodness my house was on fire because GOLLY it was nippy out!

A G Restaurant in Maryville

I've noticed flippant reviews are being deleted for violating terms of service. So I will just state that I would feel extremely uncomfortable visiting an establishment that employs an alleged unrepentant rapist of a young girl. I believe in second chances but repentance and restitution must come first, not victim blaming and coverups.

From my understanding significant portions of this town appear to be covering up for a monster and I would not spend a dime here.

I don't understand how you can claim to be a good person and employ a monster. I imagine you use the Bible to justify it too.

I'd recommend visitors stay away from the clear beverages.

Puttin' some of these gems here before they get pulled

Stopped on my way through town and had the Jack D chicken. It was more Jack than D I think, but I did hear our server offering the D to a table of young ladies across from us. Matt also offered them 'clear Pepsi', which evidently is a AG exclusive and I had never heard of. The staff was very accommodating as our server and his friend helped those young ladies out of the restaurant. The locals all seemed to be very cliquish and unfriendly towards outsiders.
