Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others this suggests that the security was weakened if not down.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others i didn't read the whole thread, but i hope you're seriously trolling here.... Anonymous IS NOT CHANOLOGY Anonymous is , was and ever will be, since there is an internet(or the chans, if we want to be a bit more precise and even Anonymous doesn't have an opinion. It's everyone's opinion. Even a scientologist could be Anonymous, if we push the logic further. Althought that wouldn't fit too much for a scilon since it would make him an SP. But a freezoner might. You're a chanologist but you're anti-assange? you're an anon. The opposite : the same The beauty of Anonymous is that we all agree to disagree, and that's what freedom of speech means Edit: Actually i like the last sentence so much that it is therefore copyrighted by Anonymous
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others I am posting this here strictly for purposes of journalism and documentation. http://pastebin com/yLAZ3NGC I removed the period so it doesn't refback. That's a LOT of numbers that were found. It may have been Russian hackers who got those after the DDoS I don't know, but if you have a MasterCard you may want to call someone to cancel/get a new number. MasterCard is unsafe. I'd suggest you let all your friends and family who have one know that they may be compromised.

Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others VISA and MasterCard sites knocked offline. Globally. They're hitting multiple targets and someone (probably Russians) compromised consumer secure data Over 10000 MasterCard numbers dumped and counting : reddit.com Told you guys a shitstorm was incoming. ::looks at users online, 1300+ and climbing:: Yup. Expect a surge once the media starts fully covering this shit.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others well well well. Whadayaknow? They actually achieved something. Shitstorm is overhead now. Media are going to crucify Anon. On the plus side, we got publicity... Heh. We're gonna get screwwwwwwed. edit: I say we will, because the public can't really tell the difference between Anon and the channers. We'll be blamed. I doubt this was Anon personally. The reeks of Chan.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others And anonymous is the one to take the shit for it. Anonymous = Credit card hackers is what people will think when we protest. I wouldn't be surprised if the aussie govt says "fuck anonymous, scientology can keep their tax exempt status."
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others LOL...you guys and your speculations. I should report you for errant faggotry.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Lol at any retards who like this shit. Oooohhhh wow, you took down mastercard and visa's websites for a few hours. Aside from forcing the IT department to earn its paycheck, what has this accomplished? Ummm... well it got a bunch of negative media attention on a story the media had already latched onto... it provided ammo to the WIKILEAKS IS TERRORISM ZOMG! crowd... aaaaaand it allowed a bunch of butthurt basement dwellers to lash out in impotent rage so they can feel all special. Well done, you sure stuck it to the man. Useless. Faggots.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Without the ddos at the beginning of chanology, you wouldn't be here in the first place.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Did the ddos attack invent protesting?
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others I'm sure that as much as DM believed the cult would prevail even he couldn't have hoped anonymous would commit suicide. Good luck in your war against the U.S. and the rest of eastern Europe. Perhaps you will do better than Germany and Japan.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Damn public, all confabulated. Perhaps you could explain how Anon is not the Chan.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others DON'T CENSOR ME!!!! OWEIGHAWOEGIH!
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others This guy is a faggot... EDIT: he just contradicted himself. Douche! And noticed...
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Was on the UK's very popular Channel 4 news, with Jon Snow: Catch up - Channel4 News
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Cool story, bro. As an aside, I'm afraid of anything that resembles a skate. *shudders* Still, the movie was cool. THEY'RE HACKING THE GIBSON!!!
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Well, to quote JD from the movie Heathers, "The extreme always seems to make an impression." Damn. That and Pump Up the Volume are two of my favorite movies from that era, and not just because I fantasized about Winona Ryder and enjoyed seeing Samantha Mathis' tits. Personally, I think DDoS attacks are stupid and unnecessarily jeopardize the SoDDer's freedom. Otoh, this is the virtual answer to the sit-ins of the last Civil Rights era, and may qualify as the equivalent in this Civil Rights era. If so, I propose changing it to "Civil Liberties" era just for clarity.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others So awesome it should also be patented!
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Interview on CBC Connect sucked. He should have had Gregg back on.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Man, I have half a mind to temp ban half you faggots for your unacceptable lack of understanding of Anonymous. What in the fuck. I expect other people to not get it, but for you jack offs to act like WWP / Chanology owns any brand on Anonymous.. that's just unacceptable. Fucking lurk moar.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Thank you I suppose? They wanted another person, didnt want to have me on twice so soon. I'll be back on again. Probably next week.

Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others That wasn't the origin or the purpose of Anonymous.
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others Except sit ins were non violent. While DDoS is not violence in the traditional physical sense of the word, if we're going with analogies here, then DDoS is digital "violence."
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others it's no more violent than cyber-bullying. Actually, it's far less violent. Probably even less disrupting than crank calls
Re: Anonymous fighting PayPal, a Swiss Bank, Mastercard and others I fail to see how taking down a site for hours of time and inflicting bandwidth and security costs is less disrupting than crank calls. DDoS isn't exactly the worst thing you can do, but come on dude. Just because DDoS is unsophisticated and not very effective doesn't mean that it's not a dick move.
