Do you have a specific question or do you mean in general?
  2. Saul Goodman Member

In general, since what she can say when doesn't lend itself to taking dox requests :)

This is as boilerplate as it gets. I doubt Luke changed more than a half-dozen paragraphs from what he uses from any titty-bar hooker or other criminal defendant he's ever handled. And note, this is NOT a criticism of Luke, but a compliment. He has given away no rights of his client, and he has given the prosecution no clue at all about the defense. He has, by the book, preserved all the rights of his defendant, and the prosecution doesn't know what he's going to do.

This is how the pros do it.

Very correct. Also, this bullshit shows the stupidity of using "your mother's maiden name" as a bank security procedure. As you point out, the mother's maiden name is RIGHT IN THE NAME of any Hispanic person using this convention. Even though I'm a complete honky, I generally object to this "mother's maiden name" thing and complain that it's useless, and they should move to something better.

Wow, the DA is going through with it. This is gonna be a funny waste of tax payer's dollars.
  7. Anonymous Member

Really? Because I was just thinking that you're starting to seem like a waste of taxpayers dollars.

What Scientology has done and is doing is a clear violation of this Federal statute, in case anyone in government cares:

    UNITED STATES CODE
TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
    PART I - CRIMES
    CHAPTER 13 - CIVIL RIGHTS

    § 241. Conspiracy against rights

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate
any inhabitant of any State, Territory, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his
having so exercised the same…they shall be fined not more than $10,000 or
imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results, they shall
be subject to imprisonment for any term of years or for life.

If the cult cannot manage to pack the jury, Scientology might not get a fair trial in CW, given their overwhelming popularity in the community.
(yeah, I know it's AMA as defendant, but Sparrow's gig kinda turned the tables and made it seem like kim "perjury is my religious right" belotte was on trial. This one should be even lulzier, what with mobility cart, ill health, surrounded by young male security guards.)

I object to your assumption that exotic dancers are all hookers. That said, yep.
Compared with Moxon, I'd say Lirot is the more honorable man, hookers and all. Good for him. A lady's got a right to make a living without being exploited.

Since he seems to be the plaintiff, wouldn't it be a good move for the defense? I hope Luke is as good as Sparrow's lolyer Key. That guy was epic in the way he drew out the witnesses and then smashed them due to their own predictability. He shredded their testimony and mocked them, nay, tag teamed with the judge to deliver subtle humor at the expense of the clams.

What's lulzy about a young, rice n' bean fueled security guard filing a complaint against a heavy older woman in poor health who relies on a mobility cart to get around?
    Everything!

Perhaps Lirot will request the list of requirements one must fulfill to work as a security guard at Flag?
Maybe 'whiny-assed pussy' will be on the list...

I'm sorry but annoying someone into lashing out at you is not a federal civil rights violation.

A fascinating combination of straw man and false equivalence.
With a topper of premature certainty.
A dash of pareidolia, and hint of apophenia.

By the way if your factual assumptions were different, would your opinion change?

Thus my earlier request for pix for comparison.
    Media might like.
Jury (hopefully it doesn't go that far) will love.
There are so many issues in this case, even factually, that it will in any event be one of their biggest foot bullets ever.
  17. anonymous612 Member

No, it's not. But if it can be shown that two or more Scientologists...for example, lied to the police in order to stop a protest, it is.

A big thanks should also go to Miranda for expediting the Unequivocal Love for AMA2 Pet Project through WWP so it didn't need to get its hand messy with scrutiny, examination, questioning or criticism.

    What we know so far...
AnonMom struck a 16 yo from Denver with the butt of a rifle. Then a Turk with a sign "Eat Dolma Here" was seen eating an omlette.
    Does that sum it up?

    Forgot the scooter.

And a big anonymous thanks to Interrobanger for his valiant efforts to save the innocents of WWP from sliding into the foul candy-coated depths of AMA2's personal hugbox.
    You too.

Lirot should have taken this case pro bono.
