There is a bit where Stone acknowledges that people have concerns about abuses at Gold Base and appears sympathetic to calls for investigation (at least in words). Need to listen to that again that when the recording comes up. It might come in useful to quote back to him when the right time comes and the DA is not being cooperative.

I just got back from the meeting.

Lots of great videos this time, including Tommy Davis telling Nathan Baca that Scientology definitely was behind the anti-anonymous booklet AND the AO video where Stone tells AO at the fundraiser he crashed that the ladies (Julie and Lirra) are crazy-ass.

I gotta say, that was quite a moment. I don't know why people bother with TV anymore, RL is so much more interesting.

Julie and Lirra were awesome. Every time Stone interrupted Lirra, she said, "Mr. Stone, this is my time." Lirra showed a video in the beginnning that RIF had made about the protesers at Gold.

Buster was awesome, as usual, saying that the ordinance isn't needed.

Then Stone pulls some crazzy-ass stuff out of his ass, such as now maintinaing that he only proposed is because he is pro prop 8, and that he was worried about the mormon bishops. Again with the mythical mormon bishops! Then he reasserts that Anonymous is a bunch of racist anti-semites...just go look on the internet.

So, the ordinance stays, but I really don't think it was a "win" for Stone or the Scientologists.

Nathan Baca was there with a camerman, and after the vote, everyone went in the lobby, and Nathan interviewed Julie first (she was on fire!) and then Lirra. I hope some of the footage gets on the news tonight.

I thought it was hilarious how Stone had all the answers this morning. Makes me wonder which $cifag wrote his speech and how long Stone had to practice in front of a mirror without laughing.

Just watched the vids uploaded thus far. Might be worth picking out the stuff about 884 potentially making Riverside county a magnet for sex-offenders and pitching this particular unintended consequence to the local rags. Moral outrage tends to get good traction...anyway might be a good "in" for the general public to become informed about, and hopefully outraged with this ordinance (which would put more pressure on the sups).

Anyway, sorry if this is a stupid suggestion.

The county supervisors have been advised in no uncertain terms about misdeeds being committed at Gold Base. They will have no shelter, no respite and no excuse for protecting the cult and turning a blind eye to the cults abuses.
I predict that the video of Glib will get a lot of airplay when the final dominoes fall.

It's actually not bad, especially considering that Mr. Stone has built considerable political capital based on his protesting of the residences of sex offenders. It has been pointed out that 884 would have prevented activities that he himself engaged in, since other protesters stayed further distances away from their targets than he did.

Also, Julie and Lirra are both veterans of those protests as well.

Jeff Stone has mastered the art of hypocracy, to where his doubletalk skills are now at the level that he could be a credible "good ole boy" club member as State Senator.

And Jeff Stone sticks to his story, no matter how false it can be shown by evidence to be. It's entirely plausible, that he's received some private TR-L training in exchange for his favors.

Those making public comments are going to have to escalate their game, to have an effect on Jeff Stone when his deflector shields are up. The truth and evidence alone, aren't enough to do more than make him momentarily flinch. The upcoming primary allows a forum to have an impact, but someone's going to have to commit to following Stone's press releases and appearances with something like a "fact sheet" to have an impact.

so watching stone talk about mormons being protested, he said there is video of it of this out there which is why he supported 884. but the problem is these protest are not infront of peoples homes, i have been to two of these rallies around here in LA and one did make a stop at the mormon temple in westwood for maybe 30 minutes tops, after that everyone just walked on to west hollywood

Stone only bothered to show up when the media was there, such as the John and Ken event.

Ashley lives nearby and showed up a few times and his wife brought us treats.

Tavaglione did not want us out there, he made that clear.

I don't recall any thing about Wilson (it's been a few years).

Buster (his district) had 2 street lights installed for us. It's an un-lit road and we were out there daily until 10 pm meaning in winter we had 3-4 hours of in the dark protesting.
