Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Probably a public Scilon in ASHO that was provided a camera & told to film you. They do that alot with publics. Next time, get a closeup shot of their face for IDs.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Basically it would translate as "Scientology, do not want." True story, I was driving to a raid with him in the car once and we stopped at the intersection diagonally across from the org. He looked up, saw the org, growled and let out a (for him) ferocious bark!!
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame LOL you said the same about the hunky "bear" security guard at CC. ;-P hehe
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Patty: I need to preface this by saying that I don't speak for every anon, just myself. I know exactly the tone of voice and "game" you're talking about. Ultimately, we're on opposing sides. Of course we're not going to be nice to each other. But this type of talk isn't a "game." It serves the purpose of demonstrating that we're not afraid of you. But there's a flip-side to that: it's saying that you don't need to be afraid of us. OSA is used to seeing us as criminals; some anons are used to seeing Scns as brainwashed robots. If our view of you is distorted, could your view of us be, too? Nobody joins a cause unless they feel that it's right. I don't doubt the sincerity of your devotion to your belief system, so don't chock up our efforts to criminality or insanity. The recent incident with a Sea Org member bandaging Smurf's ear highlighted this problem in my own thinking. I had gotten used to the idea of Scns as brainwashed cult members who wouldn't lift a finger to help us. I forgot that, as Smurf pointed out, they are people too. I don't mean to get all warm and mushy. I'm still going to show up with my signs and enturbulate, I still think we're right. I'm sure the same goes for you. I'm just saying that it's worthwhile to remind ourselves now and then that the fellow on the other side of the trenches is human, too. Hail Xenu. I don't hate Scientologists. You probably smirked when you read that, but it's the truth: I don't hate Scientologists. When I see a Sea Org member, I see a poor, sleep-deprived person who would leave if they had a fair chance to think for themselves. When I see a public Scn, I see a desperate person who was looking for the answers, still clinging to the hope that they've found the truth. And three feet behind their heads, I see an organization capitalizing on human misery, convincing people that it's freeing them while it hijacks their minds. If I hate something, it is that.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Great response. You are speaking for MANY anons with these sentiments.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Thanks everyone for the photos and videos. I haven't watched most of them yet, but I will be over the next few days. I did get a message from someone though, who is an ex and who watches all of our videos. Lots of people from around the world look at our videos from LA looking for old friends. I once was walking down the street of L Ron Hubbard way videoing, and got 2 seconds of this couple walking by, and someone emailed me and told me all about these people (it was a very long, very very sad story). Anyway, the word is that it pains people to hear insults, EVEN to the handlers. Even Patty. Even the old guy (I haven't seen the videos of this guy, but that's just what I heard). To repeat, I haven't watched all the videos, this was what others have said. And by others, I mean other exes who watch the videos and they talk to each other. There is a network of people who talk and hang out and email each other, looking for family and friends. I know people think this is the only way to wake people up, but I disagree, and so does the emailer and the emailer's friends. *Someone* from LA has been able to walk the line, and be funny and forceful, without being insulting, and that works. For instance, saying something in a giant megaphone like, "Why is it you haven't been able to make a bunch of teenagers go away after 2 years?" is funny. Saying personal things about a specific handler isn't. Swearing is not good either. I didn't hear any of it, but that's what I am getting. For reference, Anonsparrow is perfect. I think Casper is great, too. Otherwise, I am sooo happy about the turnout and the vibe and the great photos and signs and cake and music and DM's dog etc etc etc. I just had to get that out there. Edit: Also, good post, Panzerknacker. I didn't see it before I posted this, and I agree with you. Edit2: Patty, why don't you just get an account here and post? People would listen.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Yeah, I felt pretty sorry for old flyer guy. He was definitely in "still clinging to the hope that they've found the truth" but clearly didn't have answers for the questions. He had no cognition he was reasoning in a circle and repeating dogma. The same can be said for the sad band of counter-protesters they mustered for the news conference. On the other hand, there's Moxon, Abelson, Tommy D, Miscavige, Muriel DeFresne and the entire cadre of somewhat celebrities. Them I haven't an atom of sympathy for. Their behaviour is criminal or negligent or both.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame None of the pictures they post on RFW seem to include the text on the signs. I didn't see any "This Cult Hurts People" "Scientology Commits Human Rights Abuse" "David Miscavige Beats His Staff" "Scientology Convicted of Fraud" I guess that don't want any casual visitors to get an idea about why Anon is there protesting.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Also interesting...Religious Freedom Watch Forums has no mention that it is a scientology black PR tool...and yet all these pics were taken on scientology property. And the forum only has scientology discussions.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame I have to give a shout out to Joel Philips and is fellow whining tards at Religious Freedom Watch. They actually posted a decent photo of me that Patty Baber took. Thanks, tards. Anniversary of Anonymous criminality - Page 5 - Religious Freedom Watch Forum Uh-oh. I think Patty has the hots for xxxx... where's that can of Raid?? Anniversary of Anonymous criminality - Page 4 - Religious Freedom Watch Forum
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Religious freedom watch doesnt care about christians, jews, muslims, buddists, hindu or any real religion all they care about is scientology any casual visitor will see that right off i know...preaching to the choir
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Please...enjoy the goings on at RFW...but if they use ONE name for a person there...don't come and write a different name for the same person over here...they will put 2 and 2 together. And don't correct them when they fail at IDing someone PLEASE. Thank you in advance. I can see it will happen.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame I would donate $30 to the "(anons) take Patty to lunch fund" if one is stated. Putting my money where Patty's mouth is. * Must be a lunch with Glib and/or RIF and I will send a $30 money order to either Glib, RIF or some address they trust. PM me if she agrees.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame Are you asking if anyone recognizes the back of his head? From wat little is seen of him in that video it looks like it COULD be Colorado photoscifag Mark "Pedobeard/Pedoshave" Carberry. But I doubt it. Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame LA Scientologists did NOT disappoint! Sorry us east coast fags couldn't be there
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame I forgot to mention something aboot the HGB raid. Tommy Gorman was doing his thing and noticed his old best friend Whitney from when he was in the cult. There is good shot of her in here at the 2:00 mark. Man, Will Fry was going off!
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame I have an idead... write it on your forehead! XD so they have to take a picture of it no matter what... XD
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame As someone who has gone over photos and videos of raids in cities where I was in looking for friends, this is true, though I have been known to watch video with audio off for that very reason. Every person on the other side is loved by someone who is out or never was in. Do whatever you'd like with that information.
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame they posted a pic I took of barb acting all shocked... because scientologist never acts silly
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame or say to their cams how much a video editor makes in the real world
Re: 13 Feb 2010 - LA Megaraid Day 2 Postgame I just noticed they CAN do photoshop. Here is a pick where they partially blocked the sign text. They had to include the sign in order to get the oddly dressed dude in the pic...who I decided to block to protect your retinas.
